The virus continues to spread. The question is: where?
This is one of the questions the Italian pig farming sector continues to grapple with, whilst surveillance and biosecurity remain essential tools for containing the spread of African Swine Fever (ASF).
This will be one of the key themes at the Pig Farming Day, organised by Expo Consulting srl and now in its ninth edition, scheduled for 14 October 2026 at the Verona Chamber of Commerce, starting at 9.00 am. The event will, amongst other topics, take stock of the epidemiological evolution of the disease by linking data, field experience and prevention and containment strategies.
