The 58th edition of Vinitaly closes today at Veronafiere: 4,000 companies across a fully booked exhibition centre and a total of 90,000 visitors, 26% of whom came from 135 countries (five more than in 2025).
Among the established markets present in Verona are Germany, North America (USA and Canada), Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, the Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Norway and Denmark), Poland and Austria, reflecting the strength of the main markets for Italian wine. As for the most promising areas, the top 10 markets with the greatest potential include China, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, the Baltic States (Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia), Serbia and Singapore, highlighting a gradual strengthening of the presence in high-growth areas.
Interest from Africa is also growing, with South Africa, Tanzania, Nigeria and Angola, whilst in Asia, Japan and Vietnam stand out for their dynamism and focus on Italian-made labels. Among the new entrants, Ukraine also emerged with a large and high-calibre presence of buyers. The event programme featured almost 100 events, including tastings and conferences, in addition to the thousands of initiatives organised directly at the stands by companies, regions and consortia.
Among the main new developments were the expansion of NoLo – Vinitaly Experience, the strengthening of Xcellent Spirits and the consolidation of Vinitaly Tourism, which is increasingly integrated into the event’s offering.
The 59th edition of Vinitaly will take place at Veronafiere from 11 to 14 April 2027.
