To celebrate the bubbles of Emilia, on the day of the summer solstice when Lambrusco is traditionally celebrated, the Consorzio Tutela Lambrusco and Enoteca Regionale Emilia-Romagna are proposing a tasting session open to the public on the Mont Blanc Skyway cable car in Courmayeur
It is countdown time for World Lambrusco Day, the event conceived by the Consorzio Tutela Lambrusco that on 21 June celebrates the red bubbles from Emilia in the most evocative places in the country and around the world. Hosting the 2025 edition will be a breathtaking natural setting: the Valle d'Aosta, in particular the Pavillon/The Mountain station at Skyway Monte Bianco, which allows visitors to reach the highest point in Italy.
Here, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday 21 June, it will be possible to access a high-altitude tasting counter dedicated to the many expressions of Lambrusco DOC. From sparkling to spumante, from Martinotti Method to Classical Method and re-fermented in the bottle, the different souls of Lambrusco will be represented in a tasting experience not to be missed, immersed among the peaks. Professional sommeliers will coordinate this moment, remaining at visitors' disposal to serve and narrate the wines of 19 wineries from Modena and Reggio Emilia: Albinea Canali, Bertolani Alfredo, Cantina di Carpi e Sorbara, Cantina Formigine Pedemontana, Cantina Gualtieri, Cantina San Martino in Rio, Cantina Santa Croce, Cantina Puianello, Cantina Settecani, Casali Viticultori, Caviro, Corte Manzini, Francesco Bellei & C., Lombardini, Medici Ermete, Paltrinieri, Tenuta Galvana Superiore, Umberto Cavicchioli e F., Ventiventi.
