In Savigliano (CN): over 200 cheeses in competition, October 25-26
Italy confirms its status as the home of great cheeses. In the first six months of 2025, our country exported over 97,000 tons of cheese, worth almost one billion euros, surpassing even Germany in terms of total volume. This result testifies to the strength of a healthy and continuously growing sector, capable of combining tradition and innovation, territory and quality.
It is in this context that the Piedmontese Cheese Festival, an event dedicated to regional dairy excellence organized by Onaf (the National Organization of Cheese Tasters), was created and consolidated. The third edition of the Festival, promoted by Onaf in collaboration with all the Piedmontese delegations, will be held in Savigliano, in the province of Cuneo, on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, 2025.
