Rovagnati announces the completion of work to upgrade the photovoltaic system in Villasanta (MB), increasing the company’s self-production capacity of electricity to 13%
Rovagnati continues its energy transition journey and announces the completion of work to expand the photovoltaic park at its Villasanta plant. The new plant, consisting of 5,300 photovoltaic panels with a total power of 3.3 MW, joins those already in operation at the Arcore, Felino, and Sala Baganza plants and is estimated to cover up to 75% of the company's electricity needs and reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 2,000 tons per year. Thanks to this investment, the company has increased its capacity for self-production of electricity from solar (or renewable) sources to 13%, consolidating a long-term strategy focused on sustainability and energy efficiency.
