Premio Coppa d’Oro 2025

Seventeen years of promoting excellence in Piacenza. See you on October 31 in the majestic Salone di Palazzo Gotico in Piacenza.

28, Oct 2025

It was 2007 when engineer Giuseppe Parenti, then president of the Piacenza Chamber of Commerce, was keen to establish an event dedicated to Coppa Piacentina DOP, elevating it to a symbol of the region's agricultural excellence. Thus, the Coppa D'Oro Award was born, now in its 17th edition.

Over the years, the format of the event has remained faithful to the original idea: a conference dedicated to a broad theme, followed by the presentation of the prestigious “Coppa D'Oro” award to personalities who, through their commitment, have contributed to promoting Piacenza and its agricultural and food excellence, in particular PDO cured meats. Past winners include leading figures from the worlds of culture, sport, politics, journalism, and gastronomy: men and women who have promoted the image of a region capable of combining tradition, innovation, and quality.

The 2025 edition promises to be particularly rich in ideas, with a program that lives up to the best editions. Theme of the event: In the blue. When excellence tells the story of the territory.

The following speakers will debate the topic: Roberta Garibaldi, expert in tourism and food and wine culture, professor at the University of Bergamo and author of numerous essays; Davide Oldani, two-Michelin-star chef and entrepreneur; Simona Caselli, president of Granlatte and vice president of Granarolo, former councilor for agriculture for the Emilia-Romagna region, now also head of European affairs for Legacoop Agroalimentare; Roberto Fabbricini, sports master and for many years secretary general of CONI; Andrea Dallavalle, athlete and world triple jump silver medalist; Alex Revelli Sorini, professor of History and Communication of Food Cultures and Policies at the San Raffaele University in Rome; Marina Fiordaliso, pop singer-songwriter. The various speeches will be linked together by television journalist Patrizio Roversi.
