Gold medal for Cacio di Giove and Cacio del Grifone
The Caseificio Il Fiorino and the Maremma region are again protagonists at the World Cheese Awards (WCA), one of the most important international competitions dedicated to the art of cheese-making. The company, led by Angela Fiorini and her husband Simone Sargentoni, won eight medals at the World Cheese Awards held in Viseu, Portugal. Great satisfaction for the ‘first outing’ of the newborn Cacio del Grifone, which immediately won over the international jury, taking home the gold medal. The same result for Cacio di Giove and a shower of silver medals obtained by: Cacio di Afrodite, Cacio di Caterina, Cacio di Venere, Dolce Fiorino di Maremma, Riserva del Fondatore, Semistagionato del Fiorini.
