The 38th edition of the event, scheduled from Friday 30 May to Monday 2 June, to celebrate the 'King of Salumi'
The Consortium for the Protection of Culatello di Zibello PDO is confirmed as one of the main partners of the Festa del Culatello, the event - scheduled from Friday 30 to Monday 2 June in Polesine Zibello in the Bassa Parmense - now in its 38th edition that celebrates the 'King of cured meats' every year. And the numbers testify to the importance of the event, with around 5 thousand attendees registered in 2024 and something like 250 kilos of sliced culatello. Furthermore, the Consortium has doubled its commitment: on the one hand, confirming its sponsorships for Ingorda and Bassa Bike, in organizing bike tours for all ages and distances (from children to routes for adults up to 60 km); on the other hand, through its own stand open to the public on Sunday 1 June inside the Cloister of the Dominican Fathers, where the first edition of the farmers' market will also be inaugurated (free entry from 10 am to 6 pm) in the presence of the regional councillor for agriculture Alessio Mammi and the starred chef Davide Oldani.
