Initiative to promote competitive fishing and support the local economy
The Regional Council is taking action to support the competitive fishing sector by authorising the restocking of brown trout (Salmo trutta) in the sections of watercourses used for competitive events. Hence the resolution establishing that, until 31 December 2026, the release of fish may be authorised exclusively in competition venues located within the territories of the provinces of Arezzo, Florence, Lucca and Massa Carrara.
