From 24 October to 6 November special events and initiatives for sustainable fish consumption and an appeal on behalf of the future of the oceans: "We are all in the same boat. Let's protect the ocean together"
Sustainable Fisheries Weeks, a campaign promoted by the MSC Marine Stewardship Council - a non-profit organisation that promotes the health of the oceans through a certification programme for sustainable fishing - is back to promote the consumption of fish products caught respecting the seas and oceans. This year's motto 'We are all in the same boat. Let's protect the ocean together' aims to draw attention to the need for joint action to defend the health of marine resources, which are seriously threatened by overfishing, pollution and climate change.
