Tackling the climate crisis, profitability and generational renewal
“The crisis in the Sicilian fishing industry can no longer be tackled with one-off measures. We need a strategic plan capable of helping businesses adapt to changes in the Mediterranean, supporting fishermen’s incomes and securing a future for coastal communities.” This was stated by Natale Amoroso, President of AIC Pesca, following the hearing on the state of crisis in the sector held by the Committee on Productive Activities of the Sicilian Regional Assembly.
