Greater transparency and information to promote Italian fish products. This was the unanimous call made this morning at the summit organised by the API (Italian Fish Farmers’ Association) at the Confagricoltura headquarters in Rome, attended by leading representatives from the aquaculture and fisheries sectors and from various institutions.
In addition to the president of Confagricoltura, Massimiliano Giansanti, the president of the API, Matteo Leonardi, the president of the Fish Producer Organisation (OP del Pesce), Claudio Pedroni, producers Alessandro Puglisi Cosentino (Acqua Azzurra – fish hatchery), Giancarlo Ravagnan (Agroittica Lombarda – sturgeon farming), the director of Federpesca, Francesca Biondo, and the general director of Confagricoltura, Roberto Caponi.
