The event will take place from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 June in Imola
The series of events organised by the Consorzio di Tutela Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale IGP continues, as the consortium works across Italy to promote the quality of its certified meat and the supply chain behind it. This time, the Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale IGP will take centre stage in Imola at the Santerno Agricultural Fair, scheduled from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 June. Within Sante Zennaro Park, the Consortium will host a series of events dedicated to learning about, selecting and tasting certified meats, with a particular focus on the Romagnola cattle breed – one of the three breeds permitted under the Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale IGP specification, alongside Chianina and Marchigiana.
The Consortium’s participation in the Santerno Agricultural Fair aims to educate consumers on how to recognise the quality of certified meat, exploring its characteristics, cuts, preparation methods and correct uses in the kitchen. The programme will feature informative and hands-on sessions, designed to introduce the public to the world of Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale PGI through direct, guided experiences.
