On Friday 9 June, the 54th UNICEB General Assembly will take place in Rome at the Cloister of the Institute of Roman Studies.
This year's UNICEB General Assembly will focus on the main issues related to the livestock sector, including energy needs, sustainability and economic scenarios, which will be addressed during a Round Table moderated by journalist Mario Benedetto of 'Il Tempo' on the theme 'Livestock supply chains in confrontation with institutions - problems and possible solutions for a sustainable future'.
The Government will be present with an institutional greeting from the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, Hon. Giorgio Mulé.
Senator Maria Nocco, Standing Committee on Economic Planning and Budget, MEP Paolo De Castro, Dr. Ugo della Marta, Director General for Hygiene, Food Safety and Nutrition of the Ministry of Health, and Dr. Donatella Prampolini, Vice President of Confcommercio-Imprese per l'Italia, have already assured their participation.
The 54th Assembly was intended to combine the institutional sphere with a moment of aggregation very much felt by our Associates, also thanks to the splendid setting of the Institute of Roman Studies on the Aventine.
