An opportunity to present the beef supply chain and the potential of the Piedmontese production system
On the morning of Thursday, 30 January 2025 in Carmagnola (TO) at the headquarters of the OP Asprocarne and the Consorzio Carni Piemonte, an important meeting was held with the Regional Councillor for Agriculture, Paolo Bongioanni.
It was a moment to share the projects that the two structures (which together account for over 60% of regional beef production) are developing to relaunch a crucial sector for agriculture in Piedmont and beyond. Suffice it to say that Piedmont is the first Italian region in terms of the number of beef cattle bred and the second in terms of beef production.
