Quality lessons in the classroom
Vitellone Bianco dell'Appennino Centrale PGI certified meat is back in the limelight in schools with lessons dedicated to the quality and promotion of this Made in Italy excellence. The initiative, promoted by the Protection Consortium, is aimed at students in the fourth and fifth classes of agricultural and hotel schools in Tuscany, Umbria and Marche. The aim is to explore important topics such as the meaning and value of agrifood product certifications, the production chain of the Vitellone Bianco dell'Appennino Centrale PGI and the specificities of the three typical breeds envisaged by the production regulations: Chianina, Marchigiana and Romagnola.
