New opportunities for the Fassone Piedmontese beef supply chain
The Consorzio Sigillo Italiano’s second appearance at Festa a Vico – the event conceived 23 years ago by two-Michelin-starred chef Gennaro Esposito, which brought some of the leading figures in Italian gastronomy to Vico Equense (NA) from 14 to 17 June – has drawn to a close on a decidedly positive note.
The initiative, organised as part of the European EU Beef, Pure Quality project, saw SQNZ-certified (National Livestock Quality System) Fassone beef from the Piedmontese breed take centre stage at tastings, meetings and discussions with chefs, restaurateurs and industry professionals from all over Italy.
