The Consortium for the Protection of Vitellone Bianco dell'Appennino Centrale PGI at the Romagnola Festival

Today and tomorrow in San Leo near Ravenna

29, Aug 2025

The Consorzio Tutela del Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale IGP (Consortium for the Protection of Central Apennine White Veal PGI) is participating in the second edition of the Romagnola Festival, scheduled for today, Friday 29 August, and Saturday 30 August in San Leo, in the province of Ravenna, in Piazza Dante Alighieri. The event, organised by the Municipality of San Leo in collaboration with ARAER, ANABIC and other local organisations, will celebrate the excellence of Romagnola beef and the local area, offering visitors a unique experience that combines taste, tradition and entertainment. During the two evenings, Razza Romagnola Vitellone Bianco dell'Appennino Centrale PGI beef will be featured in a rich menu that includes tartare, grilled fillet and typical dishes such as ragù and braised beef. There will also be à la carte specialities, such as Fiorentina di Romagnola.

The excellence of PGI-certified meat. The participation of the Consorzio Tutela del Vitellone Bianco dell'Appennino Centrale IGP (Consortium for the Protection of Vitellone Bianco dell'Appennino Centrale IGP) aims to enhance and promote the quality of certified meat, which represents a gastronomic, cultural and economic heritage of the inland areas of the Apennines. The presence at the Romagnola Festival is therefore an opportunity to raise consumer awareness of the values of the certified supply chain: animal welfare, sustainability, food safety and connection with the territory.
