Green light for heat-treated products for the first two plants
Green light for the export of heat-treated pork and cured meats to Japan for the first two Italian plants. In Emilia-Romagna we start with cooked ham from the Parmacotto company. The reopening of the borders follows the agreement of May 2023 between the veterinary services of the Italian Ministry of Health and those of the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on the sanitary requirements necessary for the lifting of the ban due to African Swine Fever.
