Franco Martini re-elected as Chairman
Franco Martini, a livestock farmer from Chivasso (Turin), has been re-elected as president of Asprocarne for the next three-year term, which will conclude with the approval of the 2028 annual accounts. He was unanimously elected by the Board of Directors of Asprocarne Piemonte (https://www.asprocarne.com/), which, at the last General Meeting of Members held on 20 May, had been re-elected in its entirety with the addition of two new directors: Claudio Sandri of Trofarello (TO) and Mattia Silvestro of Centallo (CN). The number of elected directors has therefore risen to 19.
The Board of Directors also confirmed the four outgoing vice-presidents, who will be responsible for assisting President Martini in developing the organisation’s various areas of activity: Mauro Capello of Ceresole d’Alba (CN), Marco Favaro of Piscina (TO), Giacomo Baravalle of Solero (AL) and Domenico Giobergia of Savigliano (CN).
The May General Meeting of Members also approved the organisation’s financial statements as at 31 December 2025, which showed growth across all key indicators, starting with turnover, which rose by 35 per cent compared with the previous year to exceed 55 million euros, as well as net assets, at over 600 thousand euros, and the operating profit of €43,216, net of provisions for risks.
