With €3.6 million from Masaf, it will be possible to finance the Pesca Riviera Jonica e Sud-Est Action Group.
The Sicilian Regional Department of Mediterranean Fisheries has obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry a reallocation of the financial resources of the National Fisheries Plan (Pn Fempa) 2021-2027, “in order to ensure a more equitable and sustainable development of activities in Sicily”. Thanks to the integration of resources, it will now be possible to finance the Local Fisheries Action Group (Galpa) Riviera Jonica and the South-East, for a total of over €3.6 million. This reallocation allows for the extension of support to new coastal areas, particularly those that had not received the necessary funding in previous programmes.
